Program of Study for Minor in CIS
The program offers a minor in computing and information systems for students who wish to develop a strong competence in computer science while majoring in another area.

Minor course requirements (9 units)

Prerequisites

MATH 220 and 224 (or 212, 213, and 214), 230, and 240

Introductory sequence:

EECS 111, 211, 213, 311; students without prior programming experience may wish to take 110 before 111

Intermediate and advanced courses:

5 EECS courses at or above the 200 level (excluding 317)
