Qualifications:
&lt;br&gt;
      At least a BS/BA degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience&lt;br&gt;
      Proficiency in web development technologies such as Flex,
Javascript, and PHP and object-oriented programming languages such as
Java&lt;br&gt;
      Ability to manage a software project from its inception to
public delivery&lt;br&gt;
      Experience in building web-mapping applications (GIS, GPS) and
content management system Drupal is highly desired&lt;br&gt;
      Proven capability to learn new things quickly and adapt to new
or changing project requirements&lt;br&gt;
      Must have an enthusiasm and a willingness to be part of a
diverse team that works in a flexible and dynamic environment.&lt;br&gt;
      An interest in applying technology in educational contexts is a plus
&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;
Position: Full or part time&lt;br&gt;
Pay: Depends on experience&lt;br&gt;

<description>Dr. Anita Borg (1949-2003) devoted her life to revolutionizing the way we think about technology and dismantling the barriers that keep women and minorities from entering the computing and technology fields. In honor of Anita's vision, Google is proud to announce the 2010 Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship, awarding a group of female students a $10,000 scholarship, for the 2010-2011 academic year. Eligibility requirements:

- Be enrolled in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Program,or a closely related technical field as a full-time student for the 2010-11 academic year.

<description>The Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP) is a ten week summer research opportunity for undergraduate Juniors &amp; Seniors, and Graduate students, under the guidance of a mentor, at a participating Navy Laboratory (list of participating universities is available at http://www.asee.org/nreip). The stipend amounts for the program are $7500 for undergraduate students and $10,000 for graduate students. U.S. citizenship required; Permanent residents accepted at certain labs.

We are seeking an experienced Computer Engineer to plan and lead projects involving multi-disciplinary research studies of modal and intermodal aviation and other transportation safety issues.

By applying advanced knowledge of computer engineering to the evaluation and design of aviation safety management systems, including risk management and aviation safety assurance programs, you will create innovative approaches for the architecture and integration of systems for the FAA and other Division clients, and expand capabilities, applications and customer bases.  
As a recognized technical authority, you will explore new techniques to effectively utilize advances in computer science to develop new operational concepts to support the overall system integration and performance of a portfolio of aviation safety management and assurance systems, by developing simulations/models including designing, documenting, writing/programming, and testing the resulting software design. 
&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Qualifications:&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;br&gt;
You must  have a bachelors degree in engineering, (or be a registered engineer). In addition, you must  have at least one year of professional engineering experience which included managing, supervising, leading, and/or performing professional engineering and scientific work involving the design, construction, and operation of computer systems, including hardware and software and their integration, for applications related to transportation , particularly the area of aviation safety. 
&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;
This experience must have involved defining projects and parameters and coordinating the technical work of project teams, and must have demonstrated creativity and innovation in enhancing technical content while providing best value. &lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Salary:&lt;/strong&gt;  $ 103,455 &quot; 134, 497
