17 NU students win access to ThinkChicago at CIW

ThinkChicago winners from NU partialgroup17 students from Northwestern, including Ross Epstein, Shawn O'Banion, Sheng Wu from EECS, are among 100 elite students who will meet industry leaders and venture capitalists, visit business headquarters, gain VIP admission programming at the second annual Chicago Ideas Week from Oct 11th and 12th.

The roster of Northwestern students attending includes Brenda Chang (Econ & Psych; BIP), Patricio Cofre (IEMS MEM), Daniel DaksNikhil Holay (MechE), Matt Ludwig (Comm), David Harris (SESP, Learning & Organizational Change; Econ), Shawn O'Banion (EECS), Zeeshan Shah (IEMS MEM), Harman Singh (MS-Mech), Severin Tsuji (IEMS) Paige VonAchen (MechE: Energy & Sustainability), Bill Wu (WCAS), Judy Wu (SESP Learning & Organizational Change), Sheng Wu (Computer Engineering) 
 
Students will visit Chicago's leading and emerging tech businesses, including  Grubhub, Accenture, Groupon, Excelerate Labs, Google, Threadless, 37Signals and have opportunities to network  with industry leaders and startup founders. They will also be given access to an impressive list of speakers, including Deepak Chopra, Edward Norton, Gen. Colin Powell, Elle MacPherson and Tom Brokaw.
