Jason Hartline will be at the 4th World Congress of the Game Theory Society in Istanbul, Turkey next week to present a semi-plenary lecture entitled "Approximation and Mechanism Design". Keynote speakers at the meeting include four Nobel Laureates. The Society hosts its World Congress every four years. The first was held in Bilbao, Spain in 2000. The second was held in Marseille, France in 2004 and the third was on the Evanston Campus of Northwestern University, in the United States. The fourth World Congress will be held in July 2012 at Istanbul Bilgi University, in Istanbul, Turkey.
