Events

We are pleased to welcome Julie Flowers, who is joining us as Program Assistant II for the CES and CAA Divisions. Julie has a Masters degree in political science from the University of Tennessee and a Masters in education from Loyola University Chicago. Recently a visiting assistant professor of political science at Loyola University Chicago, Julie continues to teach courses at Loyola and at DePaul universities. Julie also enjoys hiking, biking, and general outdoor activities. She is a political junkie who enjoys a good book, movie or discussion. We wish Julie much success in her new role assisting the department in the transition from CUFS to PeopleSoft.

The Wilkinson Lab held an open house recently to show off its newly renovated multi-purpose, reconfigurable facilities. In addition to serving as a computer area, the renovated lab can be used for TA hours, small group meetings, review sessions, gathering place for EECS students, and small group work areas. Comfortable chairs, bright warm colors, and picture windows with an Eastern exposure make it a very welcoming and comfortable place to spend time. The Lab will always be open for general use, even when a block of computers is being used by a class. The Wilkinson Lab is located in Tech M336.
