Activities and Accolades

Manijeh Razeghi reports that recent research results from the Center for Quantum Devices group have been published and are available on the CQD web site.

Aggelos K. Katsaggelos has been elected a Fellow of the SPIE (http://spie.org/) for achievements in Image and Video Processing. He is among the 59 new SPIE Fellows elected in the class of 2009. Katsaggelos gave invited talks as a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Signal Processing Society at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK and King's College, London, UK in Dec. 2008. Katsaggelos was an invited speaker by the European Commission at the Future Internet Assembly in Madrid, Spain (Dec. 2008). The title of his talk was "Future Content Networks in the US".
