Matthew Grayson and Rob Riley join Anne Nicholson Weber to talk about Richard Feynman, left- and right-brain creativity, and the creative combustion that results when artists and scientists collaborate. The half-hour podcast interview is posted at "Theatre In Chicago" (theatreinchicago.com).
The interview surrounds the reviving of the play QED, brought back two years after its ETOPiA run on Northwestern's Evanston campus.
QED, a play by Peter Parnell, is getting a second life as an independently produced professional production at Collaboraction Theatre, produced by theatre4humanity. The revived show has the same director, Maureen Payne-Hahner, and the same lead actor, Rob Riley.
THe play relives a day in the life of Richard Feynman, storyteller extraordinaire, with all of the disjointed hobbies, fascinations, curiosities, stories, and quirky juxtapositions that made him a unique character in 20th century science.
