Taflove Receives 2010 Chen-To Tai Distinguished Educator Award

Prof. Allen Taflove has been selected by the by the IEEE APS Awards Committee Chaired as the recipient of the 2010 Chen-To Tai Distinguished Educator Award of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society. Prof. Taflove is recognized "For his educational activities and publications, and his impact on undergraduate and graduate students." This award, which was established in the year 2000 by generous support of the family of Prof. Tai to the IEEE Foundation, recognizes an outstanding educator who has made exceptional contributions to the field of antennas and propagation through teaching, research, and the direction of graduate students. The award consists of a plaque and a prize of $1,000.

A presentation will be made at the Awards Banquet of the 2010 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and the 2010 CNC/USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, July 11-17, 2010.
