EECS Profs. Yan Chen and Fabián Bustamante are the leading authors of three papers accepted to SIGCOMM 2010, the top venue in computer networking.  Few schools earn this recognition at SIGCOMM; NU is tied with Purdue and Princeton this year with three papers each.

Yan Chen is co-author on two papers: "Generic and Automatic Address Configuration for Data Center Networks" and "NetShield: Massive Semantics-based Vulnerability Signature Matching for High-speed Networks".  Fabián Bustamante is one of the authors of "Crowdsourcing Service-Level Network Event Monitoring".   This year marks the first ever  SIGCOMM in India, to be held from August 30 to September 3, 2010 in New Delhi.
