Short Biography:

Junsong Yuan received his Ph.D. from the EECS department of Northwestern University, advised by Prof. Ying Wu. He got his M.Eng. from the ECE Department of National University of Singapore in 2005, advised by Prof. Qi Tian. Before that, he graduated from the special program for the gifted young in Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, P.R.China, and obtained his B.Eng in communication engineering in 2002.

His research interests include computer vision, machine learning, image and video processing and content analysis, multimedia search and data mining.

I joined School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore as a Nanyang Assistant Professor (NAP) Sept. 2009. I am looking for self-motivated PhD students and Post-Doc research fellows with solid mathematical background and excellent programming skills.
