Biography
Wei Wu is currently a PhD candidate of EECS department at Northwestern University. He has been working as a research assistant in the group of Bio-Inspired Sensors and Optoelectronics Laboratory (BISOL) since 2006. He has received M.S. in EECS department in 2008. Prior to coming to U.S., He received B.S. in Microelectronics from Peking University, China in 2006.
His research interests include IR photonic devices, nano-processing methods, surface plasmonics, and semiconductor devices.
He is selected as a full member of Sigma-Xi honored society, and holds membership for a few other photonics, electronics, physics, and vacuum societies. He has published more than 24 journal and conference papers, and served as peer-reviewers for more than 10 scientific journals in his field.
