I am a post-doctoral researcher at HABits lab, working with professor Nabil Alshurafa on machine learning and wearable device development for eating and overeating detection. I obtained Ph.D. degree in Department of EECS at Northwestern University in December 2017, advised by professor Thrasyvoulos Pappas. I have been working on semantic image segmentation, metric learning and human perception; and my thesis is on metric learning from subjective ViSiProG clusters.
